Who Am I?

A DevOps Engineer based in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I’m a passionate DevOps Engineer with experience delivering secure, stable, and cost-effective solutions for version control systems and cloud architecture. When I'm not helping you with GitLab administration, managing infrastructure in AWS and Azure, or working in Kubernetes, I enjoy weightlifting, long distance running, reading contemporary fiction, writing, 35mm photography, and playing with my cat Mystie.

Things I did

Some of the highlights in my career.

Lead Source Control Migrations

Lead migrations from a variety of version control systems and upgrades to self-hosted/SaaS GitLab as part of a GitLab Partner Company.

Administering GitLab

Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for client GitLab installations, ensuring configuration integrity and delivery of services such as GitLab Runner and CI/CD pipeline optimization.

Multi-Cloud Experience

Collaborate with clients to design and support custom-built cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud providers and version control systems, with a focus on security and high availability.

35mm Photography

I've consistently shot on 35mm for about 4 years now. I started with a Canon SureShot point-and-shoot and graduated to a Canon AE-1, Pentax K1000, among other SLRs. Nowadays I use one of my multiple Olympus Mjus to shoot. I have a passion for the analog feel of film and the thrill of not knowing how the picture turns out until the film is developed. These are some of my favorite photos, and they were developed at Bodega Film Lab and Eastern Standard Photo here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
